   Your computer breaks down and that virus is near, your best  friend of course is a Computer Geek. That same lonely high school Nerd which would help you whether he or she got paid or not. We are the Mortgage Geeks, volunteers whom are former and current Loan Brokers, Title, Processors, and Underwriters who have joined this help desk web site who want to to save readers time and money.

    Whether it's a seller's market with houses going up 20% a year as it was in the early 2000. Or a buyers market, the short sale, modification, depressed properties of the present. Whatever is happening in the world of lending and Real Estate, despite the ups and downs of the market, there are always buyers, sellers and borrowers.  You would think that this "money crunch" we are experiencing, the newly required broker's licensing, and soon much more government regulations, plus the media headlines would stop abuses of the consumers.  They don't!

    The dishonest lenders and Realtors are out there. According to a past statement of the State Hearing on Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), 83% of borrowers have received a higher closing cost and rate than promised. The same RESPA Hearing found that 70% will have the same problems following referrals from friends, relatives, and real estate agents.  Most lenders get away with it through clever and expensive advertising, telling you what you want to hear, and omitting critical costly facts.  And some Realtors advertise that they are in the business "just to help people", even though they chose their profession over being say . . .a Social Worker, because why?

    Our goals for you are simple.  This web site is used for the "do it yourself" borrowers, sellers or first (and second) time home buyers.  It is for those who wish to cut the costs of their loans, avoid expensive mistakes, know who to trust (both lenders, Realtors and other people who are part of the process), know how to get what you want, understand the nature of the business and mostly . . . not be taken!  By using this web site, you can follow along the loan and real estate process with confidence, clarity, and protection.  We are not a lender, real estate company, law firm, or listing company (you heard of them, "Let bankers compete for your loan!") trying to get your business by teasing you with little bits of information.  Nor are we a government agency or political group.  We have nothing to sell you and no agendas. The Realtor or loan officer who sent you to this site has earned your applause and maybe your business.
